Location
For this position, we are looking for candidates located in the United States and Canada.
What You'll Do
Shogun places a high emphasis on the value that partnerships can bring to drive growth for the business. Our success is linked in many ways with our ability to recruit leading Agency and Technology companies to work with Shogun, as well as develop a vibrant ecosystem where our customers and partners can thrive.
In this role, this individual will be responsible for the development and execution of partner marketing programs for our Agency and Technology partnerships in support of the company’s sales and partner growth goals. With a strong marketing and partnerships background, this role will be the subject matter expert for marketing-to and selling-through Shogun’s partner community. This individual will own an integral role in the growth of Shogun and its ecosystem of partners and merchants, and will work with a cross-functional team to develop partner marketing strategy, programs, and enablement tools.
As one of the first hires into this function, you will help to build a foundation on which we scale.
Key responsibilities for this role include
- Drive leads, and ultimately revenue results, through co-marketing programs and events with our Agency and Technology partners.
- Grow our partner marketing function by supporting our sales and product teams in pursuit of their agency and technology partner channel growth goals.
- Create and manage partner communications and program messaging.
- Support partner enablement program, including creating content for partners.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Training / Enablement to create and deliver engaging partner communications regarding: partner program benefits and requirements, product roadmap, co-marketing and co-selling programs, partner training and certification programs.
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years experience in channel/partner marketing or channel programs in B2B software, or Agency experience.
- BS degree. Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field preferred.
- Marketing experience with a B2B SaaS software company or Ecommerce Agency. Ecommerce experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset
- Thrives in a fast-paced start-up team-focused culture and adapts to a changing environment
- Analytical with data-driven decision-making approach
