Account Executive - Investor Platform

Visible is on a mission to help startup founders succeed. We’re achieving this by building two separate but integrated SaaS products, Visible for Companies and Visible for Investors. Visible is a profitable, established, software startup made up of 12 fully remote teammates and has been set up this way since Visible was founded in 2015 (we have this whole remote work thing down). We’re looking to add another Account Executive to be a part of our Visible for Investors team. 

 Role Overview:

Visible launched Visible for Investors in 2019. In Q1 of 2021, it was 18% of our business and since then it’s scaled to 30%+ of our business. We’ve built a portfolio monitoring and reporting solution that is well-loved by venture capital investors, impact investors, and accelerators all over the world. This role will be focused on nurturing and closing new customers for Visible for Investors. The focus is mostly inbound sales and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our outbound sales process. You will be the third member of our sales team for the investor platform.

In the first 90 days you will likely: 

  • Become familiar with all features on the investor platform. 

  • Perform 30 45-minute demos, independently. 

  • Closed at least three deals from start to finish. 

  • Ramp up to hit the demo to close conversion rate of 25% or above. 

  • Have command of our CRM (HubSpot) and be nurturing your own pipeline. 

  • Suggest 2-3 improvements or changes to sales collateral, processes, pipeline development. 

  • Lead 4-5 onboarding kick-off calls between new customers and our Customer Success Manager. 

  • Contribute to the formation of Visible’s outbound strategy by bringing new and informed ideas to the team. 

  • Pitch in on all sorts of things -- ‘not my problem’ doesn’t exist at Visible.

 

Qualifications:

  • 18 - 24 months experience in a SaaS B2B sales role (Sales Development Rep, Business Development Rep, or Account Executive).

  • Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed quota. 

  • Bonus: Experience selling fund administration tools, working with investors, or experience in venture capital.

 Compensation: 

Salary: $80,000 base salary with OTE of $110,000 - may vary depending on experience

Start Date: 

On or before April 4, 2022
