Software Product Manager


About the Job

We are looking for a highly-skilled product manager with experience driving, communicating, and executing the product vision. Our Product Managers engage with our clients at a strategic level to evaluate opportunities, collaborate on software solutions, and guide our teams to deliver those solutions. The Product Manager is supported by a Release Train Engineer, a System Architect, and Product Owners assigned to Scrum teams. Candidates should have significant Agile experience, preferably with scaled Agile involving several teams.



The Day to Day of the Job

  • Meeting with operational and financial stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize proposed features and capabilities.
  • Collaborating with Product Owners to divide effort across teams and further break down features.
  • Preparing for, presenting, or recapping a Product Increment planning session.
  • Planning what will be included in the next release.


Job Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience working as a Product Owner or Manager
  • Proven track record of software product delivery
  • Demonstrated competence and positive leadership within an Agile framework
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to form and convey product vision to teams and upper management
  • Keen attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize and break down features
  • Sincere empathy and emotional intelligence to delve deep into challenges brought to the table by various stakeholders
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision making, and time management abilities
  • Naturally proactive and creative disposition


Job Duties
  • Develop product vision, roadmap, and features with a clear model of how the solution addresses business initiatives
  • Coordinate with SMEs and other partners for support, legal, financial, operational, and production needs of the product
  • Work with System Architect to understand enablers and technical dependencies
  • Define releases and product increments
  • Manage changes to the product vision that addresses the evolving solution context
  • Communicate vision with team and stakeholders
  • Define releases and product increments
  • Participate in demos and incorporate feedback into product vision
  • Participate in Pre and Post Product Increment Planning
  • Support Agile Release Train and delivery pipeline alongside Release Train Engineer
  • Ensure product is deployed to internal and external customers
  • Ensure product is supported
